About Grace Church

Grace Church United Methodist, a community of hope for all people, is committed to being a city-based church with an appeal that goes beyond the city.

We are a diverse people seeking to deepen and share our faith:

- through worship, education, fellowship, and service opportunities that strengthen our Christian discipleship.

- by fostering justice through the establishment of a compassionate community based on relationships across lines that often divide us.

- by meeting the needs of current members, as well as attracting others to become part of a caring, growing faith community.

Where we’ve come from:  Organized in 1865, Grace Church has been known over the years for its strong education programs, mission outreach, musical offerings, and arts focus. Located at Ninth and Washington Streets, our presence has long been a landmark in downtown Wilmington. Our arms are open to reach out to our community and our world.
