September through May
(Sunday following Labor Day through Pentecost)
Children's Sunday School (9:30 a.m.)
Grace Church Sunday School is divided into two classes. One is designed for early readers, typically between ages 5 and 7, but younger siblings often join us as well. The second class is designed for more experienced readers, typically between ages 8 and 12. Each week parents bring their children to the education wing, located on the second floor. The education wing of the church is secure, but parents need only ring the doorbells (located outside each door to the second floor) to notify the teachers of their arrival. For approximately 45 minutes each Sunday, the children will learn Bible stories, engage in creative activities and art projects, and enjoy fun and play. Parents pick up their children from their classrooms promptly at 10:15 a.m. The children then accompany their families to Worship.
Often the children will participate in special parts of Worship, such as Communion, music and drama.
We are always looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday School teachers. If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact Jeff Blackwell.
Intergenerational Sunday School (9:30 a.m.)
The Grace Intergenerational Sunday School class provides the opportunity to study various books of the Bible. Participants will read the Scriptures and will be led in discussion by Nancy Greenwell. The Intergenerational Sunday School meets in the third floor Parlor at 9:30 a.m. each week.
Childcare for infants through 5 years old is available on the second floor of the education building, starting at 9:15 a.m. and continuing through the conclusion of Worship (approximately 11:45 a.m.).See one of our Sunday Sextons, Ushers, or Staff if you need directions.
