Sunday School

September through May

(Sunday following Labor Day through Pentecost)

Children's Sunday School  (during 10:25 a.m. Worship)

The Sunday School class is designed for early readers, typically between ages 5 and 10, but younger siblings often join us as well. Each week, the children accompany their families for the beginning of Worship. After the Children’s Time segment of the service, the children follow the Sunday School teachers up to the classroom via the West Street staircase. For approximately 45 minutes each week, the children will learn Bible stories, engage in creative activities and art projects, and enjoy fun and play.

Occasionally the children will return to the Sanctuary for special parts of Worship, such as Communion.

Parents can come to pick up their Children after Worship using either staircase. The education wing of the church is secure, but parents need only ring the doorbells (located outside each door to the second floor) to notify the teachers of their arrival.

We are always looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday School teachers. If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact Jeff Blackwell.

Intergenerational Sunday School  (9:30 a.m.)

The Grace Intergenerational Sunday School class provides the opportunity to study various books of the Bible. Participants will read the Scriptures and will be led in discussion by Jeff Blackwell. The Intergenerational Sunday School meets in the third floor Parlor at 9:30 a.m.  each week.

Childcare for infants through 5 years old is available on the second floor of the education building, starting at 9:15 a.m. and continuing through the conclusion of Worship (approximately 11:45 a.m.).See one of our Sunday Sextons, Ushers, or Staff if you need directions.
