Ministry through Music
Grace offers a wide variety of music during worship and beyond. The Department of Music has an extensive history of developing excellent music programs. A semi-professional choir, handbell ensembles playing 5-octaves of bells, and vocal soloists accompanied by piano, organ, and/or guitar are just a part of the “joyful noise” we offer here at Grace!
Hymns sung by the congregation and choir are led by the 46-rank Casavant organ built in 1962, which is complemented by the church sanctuary’s stunning acoustics. Gifted composers and arrangers George Broske and Jean Rodden share their creative works. Concerts and special musical offerings round out the music experience at Grace.
And there is always room for one more! If you would like to sing in the Grace Church Choir, ring in one of our handbell choirs, and/or if you play another instrument and you’d like to share during worship, please let us know! You can learn more about the different groups by clicking on the links below, or by contacting our Director of Music, Dr. Neil Harmon.
